The Bar Tales
The Bar Tales began with a simple curiosity: what makes a well-prepared drink feel so different?
We started looking beyond what was inside the glass and became interested in everything happening behind it—the tools, techniques, small details and, most importantly, the person making the drink. From the way a coffee is poured to how a mocktail is shaken or a cocktail is stirred, every drink carries a little part of its maker.
We believe that behind every drink is a person with an experience, a memory or perhaps a story they are not ready to tell just yet. Some drinks are made to celebrate. Some are created through curiosity and experimentation. Others begin with a little mischief and become the stories everyone remembers the next morning.
That belief inspired the name The Bar Tales. To us, the “bar” is not limited to alcoholic drinks or traditional bars. It can be a café counter, a home kitchen, a beverage station or any place where someone enjoys creating and serving a good drink. The “tales” are the experiences, personalities and moments that come with every creation.
As we explored the world of coffee, mocktails, cocktails, tea and other beverages, we realised how much difference the right tools can make. A balanced bar spoon, an accurate jigger or a dependable shaker can turn an uncertain first attempt into something made with confidence.
Based in Malaysia, The Bar Tales offers thoughtfully selected drink-making tools for beginners, home enthusiasts, cafés and hospitality professionals. Our goal is to make the craft feel approachable, enjoyable and open to anyone who wants to create something worth serving.
